Vimeo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Customer Solutions Group in Tel Aviv. This role involves working within a dynamic team to identify and implement high-impact initiatives that enhance the platform's value for enterprise users. The engineer will focus on creating innovative solutions that drive growth and user engagement across various aspects of Vimeo's product.

The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to build, maintain, and improve interactive features on the Vimeo platform. They will design and develop new features, ensuring high standards of performance and scalability. The role also includes writing clean, efficient code and participating in code reviews.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers.
  • Design and develop new features and enhancements.
  • Write clean and efficient code.
  • Ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Research and explore new technologies.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
  • 4+ years of experience in programming languages such as Python, PHP, Go, Java or Node.js.
  • 3+ years of experience with React.
  • Knowledge of database design and management.
  • Strong understanding of web development best practices.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills.
