Teaching Assistant: Cybersecurity (General Interest)

Job Description

Correlation One is seeking a Teaching Assistant for its Cybersecurity program. In this remote role, the Teaching Assistant will support learners in Correlation One’s virtual training programs, ensuring their learning, comprehension, and retention of program content. The Teaching Assistant will work with ~25-30 learners as part of a larger class.Responsibilities:

• Monitor Slack channels and answer learner questions.
• Check-in with learners after live sessions.
• Facilitate breakout rooms.
• Review content materials.
• Hold individual office hours.
• Grade learner submissions.
• Provide feedback to the Correlation One team.
• Attend staff meetings.

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience in the Information Security field (or another related field) with a degree or strong credentials
• Degree in a technical field
• CompTIA Security+ certification or another related certification
• Previous learner support experience, preferably in a remote environment
