Teaching Assistant: Software Tester

Job Description

Correlation One is seeking a Teaching Assistant: Software Tester to support learners in its virtual training programs. The Teaching Assistant will provide synchronous and asynchronous support to approximately 25-30 learners, ensuring their comprehension and retention of program content. This is a remote position where the selected candidate will join Correlation One's Expert Network and be considered for upcoming projects.

Role involves:
• Monitoring Slack channels and answering learner questions.
• Facilitating breakout rooms during live sessions.
• Grading learner submissions.
• Providing feedback to the Correlation One team.
• Holding individual office hours via Zoom.

Requirements:
• 1 year of experience in software testing, SDET, or QA.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and testing practices.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
