SimpliSafe, a high-tech home security company, is seeking a Security Monitoring Specialist to join their growing team in Richmond, VA. This role is crucial in providing top-tier monitoring support to customers, ensuring their homes are secure. The specialist will work fully onsite, utilizing advanced technology to deliver fast emergency responses 24/7.What This Role Involves:

• Providing top-tier monitoring support to customers.
• Receiving and responding to emergency and non-emergency alarms.
• Interpreting and analyzing situations to resolve problems.
• Dispatching emergency services and coordinating with public safety agencies.
• Maintaining logs and records of calls and activities.
• Staying updated on company policies and training materials.
• Obtaining and maintaining multiple state regulatory licenses.

What SimpliSafe is Looking For:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass multiple state licensing background checks and monitoring exams.
• 6-12 months of prior monitoring experience (preferred).
• Proficiency in basic computer programs (Microsoft Office, Excel).
• Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent work ethic and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong attendance and timeliness.
