Job Description
GOAT Group is seeking a motivated Senior Account Manager to join their Business Development team in Tokyo, Japan. This role is pivotal in managing and growing key accounts, driving new business, and providing top-tier customer service to strategic sellers on the platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong sneaker market knowledge, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to analyze and report on data. They should also be adept at collaborating with various internal departments.

Role Involves:
  • Managing and growing key accounts on the platform.
  • Driving new business by converting rising sellers into managed accounts.
  • Taking a proactive, data-driven approach to tracking and assessing account KPIs.
  • Presenting KPI performance decks and insights to strategic accounts monthly.
  • Streamlining the new account onboarding process.
  • Supporting the execution of seller/account initiatives and team projects.
  • Providing dedicated customer support for accounts.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely and on-brand product listings.
  • Acting as a trusted partner for accounts.
  • Maintaining and optimizing relationships through business management and strategic planning.
  • Identifying and sharing account trends and feedback with internal teams.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in an account management function.
  • Strong sneaker knowledge.
  • Strong sales and analytical ability.
  • Experience building a book of business.
  • High level interpersonal, communication, and written skills.
  • Highly organized with demonstrated attention to detail.
  • A quick learner, a self-starter, and able to work independently.
  • Language proficiency: Native level in Japanese, Business or higher level in English
