Head of Engineering- Shanghai

iHerb is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead its IT department in Shanghai. This role is crucial for driving high-quality software delivery with a focus on A/B testing and AI-driven solutions. The Head of Engineering will work with cross-functional teams to execute a technology roadmap and oversee IT operations in China.

Role involves:

• Leading and scaling a high-performing engineering and QA team.
• Driving rapid experimentation and continuous delivery.
• Leveraging AI technologies to enhance eCommerce.
• Owning the technical roadmap for the Shanghai Tech team.
• Partnering with Product, UX, and Business teams.
• Attracting and retaining top talent.
• Managing the department's budget and costs.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience leading large engineering and QA teams (100+).
• Expertise in A/B testing and go-to-market testing strategies.
• Experience with AI/ML and GenAI applications in eCommerce.
• Knowledge of scalable architectures and cloud platforms.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.
