Senior Staff Product Designer, Gusto Pro

Job Description

Gusto is seeking a Senior Staff Product Designer to join their Gusto Pro team. This role involves leading the experience direction for a product area, participating in the entire product development process, and influencing strategy at the team and project level. The Senior Staff Product Designer will work with cross-functional partners to understand customer problems and deliver value to customers.Responsibilities:

• Define a long-term UX vision for the product area.
• Co-lead the definition of product strategy, roadmap, team OKRs, and project direction.
• Work with cross-functional partners to understand customer problems.
• Ship both net new and iterative projects.
• Contribute to Gusto’s product design leadership community.
• Champion the design system and platform standards.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software product design experience, preferably in B2B SaaS.
• Experience as an individual contributor design leader.
• Comfort with complexity in designing products.
• Product acumen and experience working with executive stakeholders.
• High quality bar in design.
• Experience with or curiosity about designing for AI.
