Staff Product Designer, Benefits

Job Description

Gusto is seeking a Staff Product Designer to join its Benefits team. In this role, the designer will be instrumental in shaping how small businesses shop for and adopt health insurance. The designer will partner with PM, Engineering, and Data peers to identify new opportunities and build solutions that help customers find the right benefits offerings.Responsibilities:

• Define a long-term UX vision for the product area.
• Influence product strategy, roadmap, team OKRs, and project direction.
• Build understanding of customer benefits needs through research and data.
• Design and ship new and iterative projects.
• Contribute to Gusto’s product design leadership community.
• Champion the design system and platform standards.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of Product Design experience.
• Experience designing end-to-end customer journeys.
• Experience working in complex domains.
• Strong strategic partnership skills.
• Strong UX craft.
• Passion for Gusto’s mission.
