Job Description
Gusto is seeking a Channel Account Manager to join its growing Channel Sales team. This role involves managing a high-volume book of business and building strong relationships with accounting partners to grow their client base on Gusto. The Channel Account Manager will work with accounting firms to onboard their entire book of business, understand their needs, and convey Gusto’s value proposition.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a book of business (80-120 accounting partners).
  • Engage with existing accounting partners through a consultative sales process.
  • Keep partners updated on product developments and best practices.
  • Penetrate accounting firms by convincing additional accountants to join.
  • Win new business against industry competitors.
  • Construct and manage a sales pipeline.
  • Leverage People Advisory and Certification to deepen strategic partnerships.
  • Deliver product demos and answer technical inquiries.
  • Contribute accurate records to a team-wide CRM.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a sales role.
  • 2+ years of experience managing a book of business and carrying a quota.
  • Experience in a high-volume and high-velocity environment.
  • Team player.

Gusto offers:
  • Cash compensation: $105,000 - $145,000 OTE (depending on location and experience).
  • Uncapped commission structure.
