Gusto is seeking a high-performing Senior Account Executive to join their Partner Sales team. This role focuses on new business acquisition within a channel sales or indirect go-to-market motion. The ideal candidate will drive partnerships and ecosystem growth, particularly within the tech or SaaS sectors.This role involves:
- Prospecting and hunting for new accounting firm partners.
- Developing and closing business deals with accountants and firm owners.
- Activating new partnerships and driving adoption of Gusto Pro.
- Consistently achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Leveraging sales tools like Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Influencing and educating accounting partners on the benefits of Gusto.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams.
Gusto is looking for candidates with:
- 5+ years of proven success in new business sales and a Bachelor's Degree.
- A hunter mentality with self-motivation and resilience.
- Expertise in solution-based selling and consultative sales.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and modern sales engagement platforms.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
