Junior/Intermediate/Senior 1 Data Engineer

Job Description

MaintainX, the world's leading Asset and Work Intelligence platform, is seeking a Data Engineer to join their growing team. The Data Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines that power key features of the MaintainX product and enable company-wide decisions. They will also develop tools used by data consumers daily, focusing on data integrity, quality, and accessibility.

The role involves:

• Building, maintaining, and scaling data pipelines across several business pillars.
• Modeling raw data into clean, reliable datasets.
• Improving observability, testing, and monitoring.
• Managing data security, compliance, and access.
• Collaborating with engineering, machine learning, product, and analytics teams.
• Helping establish platform foundations.

MaintainX requires:

• 3+ years of experience as a data engineer.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience working in both product-facing and internal contexts.
• Experience working directly with data stakeholders.
• Experience with a cloud platform (AWS).
• Experience developing and monitoring ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
