Senior Sales Engineer

Job Description

MaintainX is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to provide high-quality product demonstrations to prospective customers. The Solutions Consultant will collaborate with sales staff and clients to understand their business and workflows. They will also maintain content, mentor sales staff on product knowledge, and be the go-to resource for technical requests during the pre-sales phase. The role involves collecting customer feedback and working with a cross-departmental sales team.What this role involves:

• Providing tools and processes to accelerate deals and improve sales team efficacy.
• Presenting MaintainX to prospective clients, tailoring examples to their business needs.
• Importing real customer data into trial accounts for compelling engagement.
• Serving as the go-to product expert for technical questions from sales teams.
• Staying informed on product updates and incorporating them into demos.
• Building trust with customer stakeholders through product and functional expertise.
• Collaborating with a Sales Architect to develop customer-specific integrations.
• Developing and launching new sales assets and collateral.
• Mentoring sales staff on product knowledge and messaging.
• Collecting marketing and product feedback from customer interactions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of related experience in sales, implementation, solution building, or engineering.
• Prior consulting and sales experience with analytical problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable multi-tasking and maintaining high energy.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and listening skills.
• Insanely detail-oriented and organized.
• Effective problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to adjust communication style based on customer personalities and stakeholder objectives.
• Ability to present effectively and command attention.
• Empathic, positive, passionate, creative, smart, high integrity, startup mentality.
• BA degree or higher.
