Job Description
Payhawk is seeking a Manager of Business Development to manage and organize prospecting and lead generation efforts across the US market. The ideal candidate will confidently manage a growing team of BDRs, providing training, coaching, and motivation to maximize their abilities. This role reports to the VP of Business Development.Responsibilities include:
- Training, motivating, and developing the regional business development team.
- Interviewing and hiring new team members, ensuring seamless onboarding.
- Managing performance and achieving the team’s pipeline generation monthly targets.
- Analyzing and optimizing the team's outbound prospecting processes for efficiency.
- Maximizing the use of sales tools, channels, and strategies.
- Conducting weekly reviews and coaching sessions with team members.
- Tracking progress on wider business initiatives and aligning on priority objectives.
- Collaborating with the GM and Head of Marketing to align the region’s GTM, commercial strategy, and performance.
- Fostering a positive and competitive team environment.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in outbound B2B Tech/SaaS Sales, Mid-Market or above.
- At least 3 years of experience as a manager managing outbound teams with excellent results, preferably as a BDR/SDR Manager.
- Experience hiring, training, and motivating BDR/SDR teams.
- Expert in prospecting using all channels (phone, email, LinkedIn, events, etc.).
- Very familiar with SPICED framework, Challenger Sales and Sandler Pain Funnel.
- High level of motivation and ambition.
- Excellent communication and leaderships skills.
- Very comfortable with a fast-changing and high-growth environment.
- Strong command of tools such as Salesloft or Outreach, Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Courage and creativity to find new ways to generate business.
