WMS - Process Engineer

Job Description

Takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is seeking a WMS Process Engineer to join their Supply Chain Team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration of Oracle WMS, interfacing between DC Operations and the WMS system, and participating in the design, configuration, and implementation of new WMS processes.

Responsibilities include:

• Day to Day administration of Oracle WMS
• Interface between DC Operations and WMS System
• Reporting and giving feedback to DC Operations
• Design, configuration and implementation of new and re-engineering of existing WMS processes
• Testing and roll-out of proposed new functionalities in the WMS
• Managing quarterly upgrades of Oracle WMS

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience within DC operations
• Previous experience administrating WMS Systems
• Previous experience or knowledge on WMS systems such as Oracle, Manhattan, Red Prairie, SAP, Highjump or similar
• Industrial Engineering, B.Comm Logistics or similar degree preferred
• High level of proficiency with MS Office
• ERP/WMS System knowledge
• Supply Chain and DC operational process knowledge
