Job Description

xAI is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager to ensure the performance of their data center infrastructure. The Facilities Operations Manager will lead teams, oversee facilities, and solve problems to maintain uptime and efficiency. The ideal candidate will own the operation of power, cooling, and monitoring systems at scale.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing all aspects of data center critical infrastructure.
  • Leading 24x7 teams of facility technicians and vendors.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving facility emergencies.
  • Spearheading optimization projects.
  • Owning the operations budget.
  • Enforcing compliance with safety and operational protocols.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Supporting multi-site operations and new facility build-outs as xAI scales.

Requirements include:

  • Minimum of 5 years in data center operations or facility management.
  • Strong grasp of critical infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects under pressure.
