Job Description

xAI is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join their DeepSearch team. This role focuses on enhancing Grok DeepSearch and related search products. The engineer will build systems from the ground up, impacting user experience and contributing to AI model quality. The position offers exposure to both cutting-edge research and user-facing products.

xAI is looking for someone to:

  • Develop and optimize AI models and systems for deep web exploration.
  • Craft product features and interfaces for Grok search.
  • Advance AI search through research and iteration.
  • Develop training and evaluation pipelines.
  • Deploy agent ideas to product.
  • Integrate search capabilities into AI models and products.

Requirements:

  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
  • Familiarity with frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Experience with consumer-facing product growth (ideal).
  • Experience with Search and RAG systems (ideal).
  • Experience with developing real world agent systems and products (ideal).
  • Background in algorithms and data structures for search (ideal).
  • Familiarity with distributed systems (ideal).
  • Ability to work independently.
