Job Description
xAI is seeking a Backend Engineer to join their Product Safety team. This role involves designing and building internal systems to support data collection, compliance, and safety for AI products. The engineer will ensure responsible and efficient operations, delivering user experiences at scale.

  • Creating scalable solutions to support the Product Safety team’s goals.
  • Collaborating with engineers and AI experts to integrate with existing workflows.
  • Driving projects from concept to deployment with efficiency and precision.
    Requirements:
  • Experience in designing scalable, reliable systems for internal use.
  • Proficiency in Python (required).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, Docker, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of major cloud service providers (CSPs) or on-prem environments.
  • Strong communication skills.
