Senior Board Manufacturing Test Engineer

Job Description

Graphcore is seeking a Senior Board Manufacturing Test Engineer to join their Product Test and Diagnosis team in Cambridge, UK. This role focuses on enhancing the team's expertise in board/PCBA hardware testing to deliver high-quality manufacturing test solutions for advanced technology products. The engineer will collaborate closely with hardware design and other PTD team members to define and develop test solutions using boundary scan and embedded functional test techniques.Role involves:

• Analyzing PCB design testability and susceptibility to manufacturing defects.
• Defining and developing test solutions.
• Deploying and supporting tests in factory and field environments.

Requirements:

• Experience in manufacturing test of advanced electronic systems.
• Thorough understanding of electronics, SMT/PCB manufacturing processes, and JTAG 1149 boundary scan test techniques.
• Experience with test instruments (oscilloscopes, DMMs, clock generators, SMUs, PSUs, etc.).
• Ability to work with internal teams and external board test partners.
• Problem-solving skills in complex electronic systems and good communication skills.
