Job Description
Graphcore is seeking a Trade Compliance Manager to join their Supply Chain team. This role is crucial for overseeing and ensuring compliance with regional import/export regulations for Graphcore's AI server products. The Trade Compliance Manager will report to the Manufacturing Operations Director and will be based in Bristol, UK.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee global AI server and electronic component shipments to comply with regional import/export rules.
- Monitor, interpret, and communicate changes in global trade regulations to relevant stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain a robust product classification system (ECCN/HS codes).
- Ensure accurate export licensing and documentation for all products.
- Develop, update, and enforce internal trade compliance policies and procedures.
- Serve as the primary liaison with government agencies, customs authorities, and external consultants.
- Oversee trade compliance review processes and ensure business partners are not on restricted or denied parties lists.
Requirements:
- BA in Logistics or a related business field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in international trade compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of export control regulations (EAR, ITAR, EU regulations).
- Experience using the SPIRE system.
- Knowledge of the export license application process (SIEL + OGEL) and denied party screening.
- Strong understanding of customs regulations and procedures.
