Computer Vision Engineer

Job Description

Motive is seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to join their team. Motive empowers people who run physical operations with tools to make their work safer, more productive, and more profitable. The engineer will play a critical role in building and improving technology used by millions of trucks, focusing on understanding driving behavior and identifying risk factors.

• Improving the performance of existing models and algorithms.
• Building and optimizing CV/ML algorithms for real-time performance on embedded platforms.
• Writing proficient Python and C++ code.
• Converting research prototypes into product features.
• Collaborating with various teams to deliver end-to-end product features.
• Solving object detection, segmentation, and recognition problems.
• Building automated deployment, validation, and active learning pipelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's or PhD preferred.
• Solid mathematical foundation in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with training frameworks like TensorFlow, Pytorch, or Caffe.
• Strong experience in Python or C++.
• Experience in building embedded algorithms and applications.
• Experience with tools like AWS, CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Prior experience with Eigen library and RTOS is a strong plus.
