Job Description
Bottomline is seeking an Operations Compliance Manager to oversee the group’s compliance with SWIFT, BACS, FINMA, FCA, and Pay.UK obligations. This role involves serving as a subject matter expert, driving compliance initiatives, and advising on strategic approaches. The Operations Compliance Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain regulatory compliance and ensure best practice standards.

Role involves:
  • Developing and managing the compliance framework.
  • Monitoring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Assessing the effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Providing counsel and training to internal stakeholders.
  • Establishing and enforcing legal policies and procedures.
  • Leading incident response efforts.
  • Collaborating with various teams to ensure a compliant approach.
  • Monitoring emerging trends and legislative developments.
  • Assisting with internal and external audits.
  • Conducting horizon scanning of future compliance issues.
  • Providing updates to the Audit Committee.
  • Tracking corrective actions.
  • Reviewing relevant policies annually.

Requirements:
  • Appropriate degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience overseeing global compliance requirements specifically for the payments and banking sector.
  • Appropriate technical knowledge with SWIFT, BACS, FINMA, FCA and Pay.UK obligations, industry standards, policies and audits.
