Job Description

Bottomline Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to join their team in India. The ideal candidate will be involved in all stages of development, from planning to product support. He/she will design and architect technical solutions, provide technical leadership, and collaborate with other developers and analysts.

The role involves:

  • Designing and architecting technical solutions.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Implementing new features and modifications.
  • Developing code for system changes.
  • Performing production support and troubleshooting.
  • Assisting in the collection and documentation of user requirements.

Requirements include:

  • Expert level understanding of SDLC and Agile methodology.
  • Strong coding experience with Java, J2EE, SQL, and JavaScript.
  • Strong knowledge in Spring, Hibernate, Springboot, and Docker.
  • Strong knowledge in testing frameworks like Junit and Mockito.
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.
  • Good knowledge in REST API design and implementation.
  • Knowledge in Postgresql/Oracle.
  • Solid experience developing with SQL queries.
  • Understanding of Design Patterns and SOLID Principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Java developer.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
