Job Description
Alarm.com is seeking a Financial and Technical Accounting Analyst to manage financial modeling, accounting, and reporting for portfolio investments. The role involves identifying trends, providing insights, and ensuring GAAP compliance. The analyst will interact with CFOs of investees and internal teams. Periodic travel to the locations of minority investees may be encouraged.
Role involves: - Completing financial modeling and dashboards.
- Managing periodic accounting workflows.
- Obtaining financial statements from investees.
- Preparing technical accounting memos.
- Executing controls and gathering support for audits.
- Assisting with due diligence for investments and acquisitions.
Requirements: - B.A. in Finance or Accounting.
- 5+ years of business or financial analysis experience.
- Strong knowledge of finance, economics, and GAAP.
- Excellent valuation, modeling, and analytical skills.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
