Job Description
Alarm.com is seeking a Senior IT Compliance Analyst to become a key member of their IT Compliance program. The ideal candidate will lead assigned compliance initiatives, supporting the company’s organizational objectives and mitigating risk to ensure IT business practices align with approved policies, compliance frameworks, and procedures.He/She will be responsible for:
  • Leading SOX, SOC 2 Type 2, and/or ISO 27001 compliance frameworks.
  • Leading cross-functional business and governance projects.
  • Leading compliance audits and assisting in preparing documentation for program reviews.
  • Analyzing, designing, implementing, and improving compliance programs, processes, and controls.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure effective communication and understanding of IT compliance.
  • Monitoring IT policies and maintaining the policy library.
  • Recommending mitigation strategies to reduce risk.
  • Researching and responding to security questionnaires.
  • Evaluating waivers/exceptions to policies.
  • Supporting other IT Compliance initiatives.
Requirements for this role include:
  • B.S. (or higher-level degree) in Computer Science or a similar program.
  • Advanced Technical Writing Knowledge.
  • Understanding of compliance mandates, frameworks, and standards such as SOX ITGCs, SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, and NIST 800-53.
  • Experience leading the entire lifecycle of SOC 2 Type 2 attestations and ISO 27001 certifications.
  • Knowledge and experience identifying Information Technology and Information Security risks.
  • Familiarity with GRC and compliance management tools.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Ability to interpret management, operational and technical implementation methods.
  • Proven team experience.
  • Passion for working with technology.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
