The ACLU is seeking a Special Assistant to support the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in its New York office. This role is hybrid, requiring two days per week in the office.

The Special Assistant will provide administrative, logistical, and operational support to the CIO and CISO, facilitating projects and initiatives. They will serve as a liaison with senior leadership teams, enhancing coordination and communication across departments. The role involves handling sensitive and confidential information, requiring excellent judgment, integrity, and a proactive approach.

Role Involves:

  • Calendar management and scheduling meetings.
  • Preparing documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Arranging travel and completing expense reports.
  • Drafting communications and managing intranet pages.
  • Managing vendor billing and invoices.

Requirements:

  • Significant executive support experience.
  • Excellent judgment and discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
