Job Description
EBS, a part of Alarm.com, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Video Engineering team in Krakow. This role offers exposure to various technologies within the Internet of Things, including smart home automation, video streaming, and backend application development. The Senior Software Engineer will contribute to making the video monitoring solution best in class, working across technical areas and using agile development methods. Role Involves:
- Designing, implementing, and testing new software features.
- Innovating and improving existing products.
- Participating in the entire project life cycle.
- Researching and applying new technologies.
- Taking ownership of projects.
- Collaborating with Quality Assurance.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in Software Development.
- B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science or similar engineering program.
- English proficiency.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven team experience.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills (ex. C#).
- Experience with database design and development.
- Experience with creating and maintaining unit tests.
