Senior Software Engineer - SRE

Alarm.com is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their Platform team in Krakow. The successful candidate will help maintain, improve, and scale the environment that supports millions of customers and IoT devices. This role involves working with the latest technologies and code at scale within a friendly company culture.

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for:

• Gathering and analyzing metrics from operating systems and applications.
• Assisting in capacity planning of production environments.
• Supporting deployments and responding to production incidents.
• Developing full-stack software for various platforms and technologies.
• Researching and evaluating new technologies and methodologies.
• Participating in the entire project life cycle.

Requirements for this role include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with SRE and/or Software Engineering.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills (C#, Java, C++, Python).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Wavefront, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, SumoLogic).
• Experience with capacity planning and code tuning.
• Strong communication skills and experience working across different departments.
• Willingness to be on call and support production deployments.
