Job Description
Webflow is seeking a Staff Product Designer to join their team and work on a new product offering. The company aims to empower everyone with development superpowers through its Website Experience Platform (WXP). The Staff Product Designer will play a crucial role in defining and shaping a new product area from the ground up, collaborating across teams to strategize, explore, validate, and build solutions that expand Webflow’s platform.
Responsibilities:
- Define, design, and launch sophisticated products in a new category that expands Webflow’s platform, while seamlessly integrating with existing products.
- Proactively collaborate across pillars to untangle complex technical and user experience dependencies.
- Present work to stakeholders and senior leadership, actioning feedback and driving alignment on design vision and strategy.
- Regularly engage with customers to develop a thorough understanding of their needs and pain points.
- Continually elevate the craft of design at Webflow and be a thought leader for high impact design decisions, mentoring fellow designers.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience influencing and leading complex initiatives in a remote environment.
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Previous experience with software that empowers professional or technical users in their respective industries.
- Familiarity with the web design industry, content management, web standards, and accessibility.
- Bias towards action working on complex products at a high growth, scaling company.
