Senior Director of Product Operations

Job Description

AlphaSense is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Senior Director / Head of Product Operations. This role will report to the SVP of Product and will be responsible for establishing and optimizing the product operations function, ensuring data-informed, customer-centric investment decisions. The Senior Director will be a key member of AlphaSense’s R&D leadership team and a primary thought partner for executive leaders in defining product strategy.This role involves:

• Driving a systematic approach to evaluating, prioritizing, and aligning product investments.
• Defining and maintaining a structured portfolio of product features and workflows.
• Establishing and scaling frameworks, tools, and processes to optimize product development efficiency.
• Improving product lifecycle management practices.
• Developing and maintaining robust product analytics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms.
• Building and maintaining strong partnerships across various teams.
• Ensuring a customer-centric approach to decision-making.
• Developing a structured approach to integrating customer insights.

Requirements include:

• 12+ years of experience in business strategy and operations, product strategy and operations, or a related field within a B2B SaaS environment.
• Proven track record of establishing and scaling product operations functions and teams.
• Deep understanding of product portfolio management, investment decision-making, and operational excellence.
• Strong analytical skills with experience capturing and leveraging data and insights.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills.
• Experience implementing best-in-class tools and frameworks.
• Passion for building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
