Job Description
Nearform is seeking a Senior GCP DevOps Engineer for a remote contract position based in Poland. The role involves developing infrastructure for cloud-based applications, creating deployment architectures and continuous delivery pipelines, designing high-availability approaches, and implementing monitoring architectures.
The Senior GCP DevOps Engineer will work on client projects, leveraging their expertise to deliver enterprise-level solutions in a remote agile environment. They will manage and automate complex platforms on GCP, work with containers and Kubernetes, and utilize infrastructure as code technologies like Terraform. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Role Involves:
- Developing infrastructure to support cloud-based applications
- Creating deployment architectures and continuous delivery pipelines
- Designing high-availability approaches
- Implementing monitoring architectures
Requirements:
- Proficient communication in English
- Experience delivering at an enterprise level in a remote agile environment
- Experience managing and automating complex platforms/applications on GCP
- Experience with containers and container orchestration, ideally Kubernetes
- Experience with infrastructure as code technology, ideally Terraform
- Experience with CI and building CD pipelines, ideally with Github actions
- Data storage experience with RDBMS and NoSQL technologies
- Solid understanding of observability practices across the stack
- Experience with security assessments frameworks (e.g., Soc2)
- Ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
