The Data Engineer Associate plays a vital role in maintaining and scalabing company data pipelines while adhering to principles of reliability and maintaining the quality of data.

Role Involves:

  • Building, integrating, and maintaining data pipelines.
  • Ensuring and monitoring data quality.
  • Learning and implementing data lake architectures.
  • Maintaining and improving existing data pipelines.
  • Collaborating with data teams remotely.
  • Staying up to date with the latest technologies.
  • Collaborating with data analyst teams.
  • Documenting work.

Requirements:

  • 6 months to 2 years of experience in a technical role focused on data pipelines, ETL, and cloud architectures.
  • Software engineering or computer science background.
  • Basic practical experience with Python, SQL and Spark.
  • Basic experience using Git.
  • Understanding of data modeling paradigms and data lake architectures.
  • Basic understanding of distributed systems.
  • Laboratory experience with big data technologies and frameworks.
