Engineering Manager Infrastructure (f/m/d)

Job Description

Decathlon is seeking an Engineering Manager Infrastructure (f/m/d) to join their team in Lille. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Ops and Security Engineers, ensuring the stability and security of Decathlon's in-store applications and services across 1700 stores in 70 countries. This role involves driving technological transformation and supporting Decathlon's global commerce activities.

The Engineering Manager will work with the Cashtill team, which focuses on providing a secure and stable architecture for Decathlon's various point-of-sale solutions. The team is working on implementing observability, continuous deployment, and unified endpoint management.

Role involves:

• Leading and developing a team of Ops and Security Engineers.
• Creating a motivating and challenging work environment.
• Ensuring technical choices align with Decathlon's strategy.
• Ensuring quality delivery through performance indicators.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to define the functional and technical vision.
• Managing the team's budget and recruitment.

Requirements:

• Experience in engineering team management.

• Fluency in written and spoken English and French.
