Software Engineer Backend (f/m/d)

Job Description

Decathlon is seeking a Software Engineer Backend to join their In-Store domain team in Nantes. The team's mission is to provide solutions that ensure the security of products in the store. The Software Engineer will be responsible for contributing their technical expertise to the team's projects and helping to transform Decathlon's IT system.

The Software Engineer will work closely with frontend developers and product management to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions. They will also participate in the design of the technical architecture, ensuring the scalability and evolvability of solutions. Decathlon is looking for someone who can communicate effectively with both technical experts and business representatives.

Role involves:

• Contributing technical expertise to team projects
• Participating in the design of technical architecture
• Collaborating with frontend developers and product management
• Ensuring code quality by promoting good development practices
• Staying up-to-date on new technologies

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Java developer
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience in designing and implementing microservices
• Experience with CI/CD and testing
• Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools
