Clara is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in architecture and be responsible for the programming development and delivery of Clara's projects. This role involves collaborating with development teams and stakeholders to ensure that software solutions are architected, designed, and implemented effectively.Responsibilities include:
  • Designing, developing, and optimizing microservices in Java (Spring/Spring Boot)
  • Implementing event-driven architectures using Kafka or other messaging platforms
  • Managing relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB)
  • Deploying and monitoring cloud-based systems (AWS) using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Enhancing system security and efficiency through DevOps best practices and real-time monitoring
  • Collaborating with product and data teams to integrate solutions for improved data-driven decision-making
  • Participating in code reviews, providing technical mentorship, and contributing to development standards
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, microservices, and scalable systems
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, TDD, BDD, and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
  • Experience with high-volume, high-concurrency systems
  • Technical leadership and communication skills to collaborate across teams
