Cloud Security Engineer

Job Description

GWI is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join their Infosec team in Athens. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in automating security tasks related to Web Application Firewalls, Vulnerability Management, and Cloud Security Architecture. This role involves close collaboration with the Infrastructure Team to enhance security measures across GWI's platforms. The candidate should be flexible, comfortable with continuous change, and able to thrive in a high-tempo environment.

Role Involves:

• Automating security tasks
• Working with Web Application Firewalls
• Vulnerability Management
• Cloud Security Architecture
• Collaborating with the Infrastructure Team

Requirements:

• Comprehensive experience in software development and security engineering
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code, particularly with Terraform
• Expertise in container deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes
• In-depth experience with Google Cloud Platform services and security controls
• Ability to build and operate secure systems at scale
• Experience configuring and working with security tools like SIEM and Cloud Security
• Familiarity with Endpoint Protection Platforms (EPP) and platforms like JumpCloud and Cisco Umbrella
• Advanced Linux knowledge is a plus
