Frontend Engineering Manager

GWI is seeking a Frontend Engineering Manager to lead a multinational team in Athens. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality deliverables, collaborate with Engineering and Product Directors, mentor colleagues, drive innovation, and integrate solutions into a cohesive system. This role requires flexibility, comfort with continuous change, and the ability to thrive in a high-tempo environment.What this role involves:

• Leading a multinational team of up to five frontend engineers.
• Ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborating with Engineering and Product Directors.
• Mentoring colleagues across two Frontend stacks.
• Driving innovation and integrating solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a senior engineer or team lead.
• Track record of delivering successful software projects.
• Strong fundamentals in web protocols, browser architecture, and frontend frameworks.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to quickly understand technical and data problems.
• Experience with React and Typescript.
• Experience with a server-side language (Java, C#, Python, Go, or Node.js) is a plus.
