Job Description
GWI is seeking a Software Security Engineer to join their Infosec team in Athens. This role involves automating and managing key security processes, including SDLC, vulnerability management, security software architecture, web application scanning, bug bounty programs, and penetration testing. The ideal candidate will be flexible, comfortable with continuous change, and able to thrive in a high-tempo environment.
Role Involves:
  • Automating and managing key security processes
  • Writing and reviewing code
  • Managing container deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes
  • Building and operating secure systems at scale
Requirements:
  • Software development and security engineering experience
  • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code, particularly with Terraform
  • Experience with Python and Django Web Framework or similar
  • Experience with APIs, SDKs designs and Secure Coding best practices
  • Expertise in managing container deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes
  • In-depth experience with Google Cloud Platform services and understanding of its security controls
  • Ability to build and operate secure systems at scale
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux is a bonus
