Job Description
LA28 is seeking a Manager, Operational Planning to support the integration of workstreams for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles. This role involves collaborating cross-functionally, building presentations, consolidating data, and managing timelines. The ideal candidate is versatile and willing to tackle any task.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with internal partners, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Support the development of operational planning calendars.
- Track the status of operational planning deliverables.
- Research and develop insights for business decisions.
- Provide project management support to resolve complex issues.
- Execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist in creating and implementing detailed plans.
- Manage schedules and organize meetings.
- Manage the Stakeholder Service Catalog.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years in operational planning, project management, or consulting.
- Experience in large-scale events.
- Experience executing on a larger organizational mission/vision/strategy.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Generalist knowledge and mindset.
- Strong PowerPoint skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (SmartSheet preferred).
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to co-creation and collaborative decision-making.
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
