Job Description
LA28 is seeking a Manager, Operational Planning to support the integration of workstreams for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles. This role involves collaborating cross-functionally, building presentations, consolidating data, and managing timelines. The ideal candidate is versatile and willing to tackle any task.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build relationships with internal partners, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Support the development of operational planning calendars.
  • Track the status of operational planning deliverables.
  • Research and develop insights for business decisions.
  • Provide project management support to resolve complex issues.
  • Execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assist in creating and implementing detailed plans.
  • Manage schedules and organize meetings.
  • Manage the Stakeholder Service Catalog.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years in operational planning, project management, or consulting.
  • Experience in large-scale events.
  • Experience executing on a larger organizational mission/vision/strategy.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Generalist knowledge and mindset.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (SmartSheet preferred).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to co-creation and collaborative decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
