Darktrace, a global leader in cyber security AI, is seeking a Python Software Engineer to join its R&D team in Cambridge. The successful candidate will contribute to projects ranging from rapid prototyping to structured development, furthering the company's unique methodology in defending against unknown cyber-attacks. - Working to the solid structured development of existing platforms

Requirements:
- Core competency in Python development
- Solution-focused mindset with an analytical approach to problem-solving
- Ability to program using Python and understanding of writing code in a production environment
- Comfortable working autonomously and cooperatively within a team
- Knowledge or interest in cyber-security / malware forensics
- Experience with statistical analysis of static or dynamic systems
- Familiarity with Docker
- Knowledge of cloud computing environments (beneficial)
- Experience with JavaScript, Rust, and C++ (beneficial)

This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 2 days a week in the Cambridge office.
