Job Description
Darktrace, a global leader in cyber security AI, is seeking a Python Software Engineer to join its R&D team in Cambridge. The successful candidate will contribute to projects ranging from rapid prototyping to structured development, furthering the company's unique methodology in defending against unknown cyber-attacks. Innovation and creativity are highly encouraged.Role involves:
  • Contributing to projects ranging from the rapid prototyping of new ideas
  • Working to the solid structured development of existing platforms
  • Working towards the aim of furthering our unique methodology in defending against unknown cyber-attacks
Requirements:
  • Core competency in Python development
  • Solution-focused mindset with an analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to program using Python and understanding of writing code in a production environment
  • Comfortable working autonomously and cooperatively within a team
  • Knowledge or interest in cyber-security / malware forensics
  • Experience with statistical analysis of static or dynamic systems
  • Familiarity with Docker
  • Knowledge of cloud computing environments (beneficial)
  • Experience with JavaScript, Rust, and C++ (beneficial)
