Darktrace, a global leader in cyber security AI, is seeking a Senior UI Developer to join its innovative R&D teams in Cambridge. The successful candidate will contribute to the creation and enhancement of products driving the company's rapid growth. This role involves collaborating on diverse projects, utilizing a broad range of tools and technologies.

Role involves:

  • Leading the design and maintenance of dynamic user interfaces using advanced front-end technologies.
  • Architecting and implementing comprehensive UI testing strategies utilizing tools such as Mocha and Cypress.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate user interfaces with backend services and APIs.
  • Driving performance optimisation initiatives by implementing best practices in front-end development.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior developers.

Requirements:

  • A solution-oriented mindset with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and React.
  • Ability to write and review code suitable for a production environment.
  • A comprehensive portfolio showcasing previous work.
  • Extensive experience and deep knowledge of Redux, Recharts, and TanStack Query.
  • Expertise in accurately translating designs from Figma into high-quality, responsive code.
  • Proficiency with version control systems such as Git, and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • In-depth understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices.
  • Proven track record of performance optimisation techniques.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers.
