Software Engineer (Full Stack, Machine Learning)

Job Description

Darktrace is seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Software Engineer to join its Innovation team in Cambridge. This role is pivotal in rapidly prototyping and iterating on new projects within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will collaborate within a cross-functional team, contributing to key decisions and driving innovative solutions to enhance Darktrace's services.This is a hybrid role requiring attendance in the Cambridge office 2 days a week.Responsibilities:

• Own the prototyping and development of new and innovative ideas.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, project co-ordinators, and technical strategists.
• Work with a wide range of infrastructures, languages, and technologies.
• Curate datasets and work with ML concepts and associated libraries, such as Pytorch.

Requirements:

• Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in at least one of Python, Rust, or C++.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Experience fine-tuning models and deploying them to production.
• Startup mindset.
