Senior Solutions Engineer

Darktrace, a global leader in cyber security AI, is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join their expanding technical team in France. This role focuses on onboarding the largest strategic customers in the country. The Senior Solutions Engineer will work in pre-sales, collaborating with Key Account Managers to understand and meet customer needs with Darktrace solutions. This is a hybrid role based in Paris, requiring 2 days per week in the office and approximately 20% travel.Darktrace is looking for someone with experience in pre-sales within the cybersecurity market, offering extensive training and support to further develop existing skills. The successful candidate will design and manage pre-sales Darktrace deployments, build strong technical relationships with customers and partners, and serve as a trusted technical advisor.Responsibilities include:

• Designing and documenting success criteria and business case materials.
• Supporting responses to RFIs/RFPs.
• Designing deployment plans and architectures for customers alongside the implementation team.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• Experience selling and implementing security operations and technology in large enterprises.
• Strong knowledge of on-premise and cloud networking.
• Strong knowledge in the cyber security domain.
• Experience and proficiency in public speaking.
• Experience defining security strategies.
• Practical experience / understanding of threat actor tactics.
• Security+, CISSP, CEH, Pen Testing, Incident Response certifications are useful.
• A Cloud Security qualification is useful.
• Degree in STEM field preferred.
