Job Description
Darktrace, a global leader in cyber security AI, is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join its expanding technical team in Italy. This role is focused on onboarding the largest strategic customers in the country. The Senior Solutions Engineer will work in pre-sales, providing technical and cyber defense expertise, and collaborating with Key Account Managers to meet customer needs. This is a hybrid role based in Rome or Milan, requiring two days per week in the office, with approximately 20% travel.
Role Involves:
- Designing and managing pre-sales Darktrace deployments.
- Developing strong technical relationships with customers and partners.
- Serving as a trusted technical advisor.
- Designing and documenting success criteria and business case materials.
- Supporting responses to RFIs/RFPs.
- Designing deployment plans and architectures for customers.
- Staying updated with industry trends and technologies.
Requirements:
- Experience in a customer cyber role or software sales engineering role.
- Proven ability to build lasting business relationships.
- Strong knowledge of both on-premise and cloud networking.
- Strong knowledge in the cyber security domain.
- Experience and proficiency in public speaking.
- Experience defining security strategies.
- Practical experience / understanding of threat actor tactics.
- Degree in STEM field preferred.
