Job Description

Coefficient, a VC-backed SaaS startup, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to their vision of connecting company data to spreadsheets. This role involves working closely with the founders to define product features, architect the backend, and develop resilient and scalable systems.

The Senior Software Engineer will work alongside the founders to define product, design core backend architecture, and develop resilient, scalable systems from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and building complex backend systems.
• Designing high-throughput data pipelines.
• Deploying apps and services to a production cloud environment.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience designing and building complex backend systems
• Extensive Python experience
• Production experience with data stores such as PostgreSQL, Redis and Cassandra
• Experience deploying apps and services to a production cloud environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to deliver complex features with little direction
