Job Description
Qumulo is seeking a Customer Success Engineer II to provide weekend coverage, focusing on cloud technologies. The Customer Success Engineer will engage with customers to answer technical questions and resolve complex issues, primarily in cloud environments like AWS and Azure. This role involves managing the complete lifecycle of customer issues, ensuring effective communication and resolution. The ideal candidate will be based in the Pacific to Central US time zones.Responsibilities include:
  • Providing support to customers during weekend schedules.
  • Collaborating with sales, product, and engineering teams to resolve customer issues.
  • Troubleshooting issues on the Qumulo product in both on-premises and cloud file systems.
  • Prioritizing and driving resolution for escalated customer issues.
  • Providing feedback to engineering and product teams on product gaps.
  • Collaborating with peers and mentors on complex issues.
  • Expanding skill sets in cloud technologies.
Requirements include:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of major cloud platforms.
  • Basic network troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with Linux & Windows operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Windows Active Directory or LDAP.
  • Understanding of file permissions and access control in cloud environments.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • 1-3 years of troubleshooting cloud environments.
