Qumulo is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer to join their sales team in Japan. This role involves assessing customer needs, building business cases for Qumulo's data platform solutions, and becoming a trusted advisor to customers. The ideal candidate will be a technologist with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to C-Level customers.Responsibilities include:
Collaborating with sales teams to develop tailored solutions.
Identifying and qualifying sales opportunities.
Preparing technical proposals and responses to RFPs.
Building long-term partnerships with customers.
Providing customer training sessions.
Contributing to the creation of case studies and white papers.
Designing and delivering creative storage solutions.
Participating in deep-dive discussions and articulating value propositions.
Performing whitespace reviews and business planning.
Demonstrating the value of Qumulo’s products and services via proof of concept deployments.
Qualifications include:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales engineering role.
3–5 years specializing in unstructured data, file, and object technologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Industry certifications such as AWS, Azure, or storage vendor architect certifications.
Strong technical background in end-user compute, cloud technologies, and operating systems.
