Qumulo is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer (Systems Engineer) to join their field sales organization. This role is based in Northern California, specifically the San Francisco Bay Area. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in data platforms to evaluate customer needs and develop compelling business cases for Qumulo's solutions. He will act as a trusted advisor to both potential and existing clients, championing their success.He/She will be responsible for:
Technically validating account strategies and sales plans.
Championing customer needs and developing innovative solutions.
Anticipating technology trends and maintaining technical knowledge.
Independently engaging with senior-level stakeholders.
Serving as a technical education resource for customers and partners.
Driving technical solution design conversations.
Acting as the voice of the customer internally.
Demonstrating technical excellence throughout the sales cycle.
Qumulo is looking for someone who has:
Strong presentation skills and technical writing ability.
Competitive knowledge of the storage industry.
Experience with distributed computing, big data analytics, or related fields.
Knowledge of Microsoft or AWS cloud architectures.
Experience in a large vendor, Global SI, or Reseller Pre-Sales organization.
