Stone Tech is seeking a SWE Manager - Mobile to lead engineering teams and foster a collaborative, results-oriented environment. The role involves aligning technical goals with the company's strategic objectives, promoting team member growth, and cultivating a culture of continuous learning. The Engineering Manager will facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and developing engineering teams with a focus on high performance and individual growth.
- Understanding and connecting technical direction to the company's strategic and operational plans.
- Ensuring the delivery of technical solutions aligned with business needs, in partnership with PMs, Designers, and other leaders.
- Facilitating communication between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Promoting a collaborative environment, psychological safety, and constant feedback.
- Ensuring the construction of technical strategies for team domains, promoting good engineering practices (Clean Code, TDD, CI/CD, DevSecOps).
- Participating in the definition and monitoring of OKRs and technical metrics (lead time, stability, test coverage, etc.).
- Encouraging Inner Source initiatives, RFC usage, and a culture of living documentation.
- Handling ambiguous problems and challenging prioritization, balancing deadlines and quality.
- Influencing decision-making with the team on solution details.
- Ensuring quality, scalability, and good practices of the product/platform.
- Defining, collecting, analyzing, and monitoring application/product health metrics.
- Managing mobile platform (internal dev client).
Requirements:
- Experience in leading multidisciplinary technical teams based on agile principles and methodologies (scrum / kanban).
- Experience in an environment with robust and scalable architecture.
- Strong knowledge and experience in leading teams adopting architectural patterns and code design, consistent and well-documented coding standards.
- Experience in Mobile development android/iOS.
- Solid knowledge of RESTful API / HTTP Protocol.
- Solid knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Solid knowledge of SOLID principles, Clean Code, and Design Patterns.
- Experience in investigations, troubleshooting, telemetry, monitoring, observability, and debugging of systems in general.
- Experience with Software Testing: Unit, integration, stress, mutation, and E2E.
- Knowledge of databases and relational and non-relational modeling, cache strategies, and distributed processing.
- Knowledge of DevOps: CI/CD, automation, and the culture itself.
- Metrics and marketing tools (e.g., Firebase, Google Analytics, Amplitude).
- Experience in mobile platform management (internal dev client).
