Job Description
Stone Tech is seeking a Senior Security Engineer Advisor to join their AppSec team. This role is crucial for ensuring applications are developed, maintained, and used securely, protecting against cyber threats. The Senior Security Engineer Advisor will be responsible for:
- Participating in the design of new products and services, identifying security requirements.
- Identifying vulnerabilities and their risk levels in existing products and services.
- Participating in security tests, helping define scope and mapping improvement actions.
- Participating in the analysis and response to security incidents, seeking continuous improvement.
- Training and collaborating with development teams to define good programming and software architecture practices.
The ideal candidate should have:
- The ability to identify opportunities for improvement and new solutions.
- Knowledge of common attack vectors.
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of security related to Threat Modeling, SAST, DAST, SCA, and Secret Scanning.
- Experience with Linux command line, security monitoring, log analysis, and forensic tools.
- Proficiency in working within multi-disciplinary teams using agile methodologies.
- Advanced/Fluent English.
