Job Description
Wrike is seeking a Staff Backend Engineer to join their team. The engineer will partner with other talented engineers to empower product teams by building effective internal tools, supporting the complexity of growing solutions, and uplifting code quality. This role offers meaningful technical autonomy and the opportunity to make a direct impact across the organization.
    Role involves:
  • Architectural Evolution: Enhance the maintainability of monolithic and microservices architectures.
  • Tools & Standards: Develop and maintain powerful internal tools for architecture quality.
  • Refactoring Excellence: Refactor and simplify complex codebases.
  • Clean Code Advocacy: Champion architectural best practices.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Foster technical growth by sharing insights.
    Requirements:
  • 7+ years developing scalable software solutions.
  • Strong experience with Java and Postgres.
  • Proactive utilization of modern AI-powered tools and coding agents.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively in high-level engineering groups.
